Spray Tan FAQs

To achieve the perfect tan, I need your cooperation. Your spray tan artist contributes 50%, and you contribute the other 50%. Together, we can achieve a beautiful glow by following these steps.
Prep Reminder: Your spray tan should be the last step after any other aesthetic services.
24 Hours Before Your Appointment: Complete these:
- Wax or shave
- Manicure and pedicure
- Facials (avoid intense ones)
- Botox
- Hair color
- Lash extensions
- Brow tints
If you use retinol, stop using it 7 days before your appointment to ensure the best spray tan results.
Night Before or Days Prior: Exfoliate and moisturize your entire body, which is crucial for the best tan. Avoid using loofahs, as they may not provide even exfoliation, and avoid Dove products.
Day of Your Spray Tan: Come Ready!
- Remove all makeup and deodorant
- Take off all jewelry
- Wear dark, loose, long-sleeved clothing
- Avoid tight-fitting clothes
- Wear flip-flops or sliders (depending on the weather)
This is a safe space! My main goal is to ensure you have the best experience while getting your glow. You can wear whatever makes you comfortable in the tent—topless, a bra and panties, or nothing at all.
A Glow tan lasts 7–10 days with proper aftercare. Keep your tan dry while it develops to avoid streaks. Depending on your technician's advice, you may sleep in the solution. Wear loose, dark clothing to protect your tan during development. During your first rinse, use warm water only and gently wash off excess bronzer until the water runs clear. Pat your skin dry and moisturize regularly to promote an even, long-lasting fade. If you received a Rapid Tan, follow the moisturizing instructions provided during your appointment. Avoid heavy exercise or excessive sweating for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, you may use body wash; however, it should be spray tan-friendly and free of harsh exfoliating ingredients. To help your spray tan last throughout your vacation, follow these tips:
Book Your Spray Tan: Schedule your appointment 1–2 days before your trip. Depending on your travel plans, your artist may recommend either a rapid tan or a traditional tan.
Wear SPF: Spray tans do not contain sun protection. Use a spray tan-friendly sunscreen and reapply regularly while outdoors.
Moisturize Daily: Keeping your skin hydrated is one of the best ways to maintain an even, longer-lasting glow. Apply moisturizer morning and night throughout your trip.
Limit Water Exposure: Extended time in pools, hot tubs, and salt water can cause your tan to fade more quickly. Rinse off after swimming whenever possible.
Pat Dry, Don't Rub: After swimming or showering, gently pat your skin dry rather than rubbing with a towel.
Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water helps support healthy skin and promotes a more even fade.
Enjoy Your Glow: With proper care, your spray tan can stay looking fresh and radiant throughout your vacation.
Trial tans are essential, even if you've had a spray tan before. We want you to get the best color for your special day, so it's best to book a package of 3.
You can use these for your bachelorette party, bridal shower, engagement parties, and more. Schedule your wedding spray tan at least 48-72 hours before the big day. This way, you'll have time for your first rinse with just water and a second shower with soap to prevent bronzer from getting on your dress.
Don't forget to complete all your beauty services before the tan to get your spray tan last! Also, your fiancé might want a tan too, so both of you can glow!
